Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING POLICY

Orders are shipped from our in-store inventory selection.  At this time Penelope T can only ship within the US.

Orders received before 3pm Monday - Friday EST (Eastern Time) will be processed within two business days, pending item availability and credit card verification. Orders placed after 3pm (EST) will be processed in up to 3 business days.  (This excludes Saturday, Sunday and Holidays).  

We ship packages via USPS Priority Mail (1-5 business days for most locations) and UPS Ground. We also offer store pick-up.  A shipment confirmation email will be sent with the tracking number.  Orders over $500 may be shipped with a signature required.  If you decide to refuse any shipments from Penelope T, you are responsible for the original charges to you, and the cost of returning the package to Penelope T.  This amount will be deducted from your refund.

ONLINE RETURN POLICY

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase.  We accept returned merchandise postmarked within 7 calendar days of date of delivery and offer full refunds if the following criteria has been met.  Merchandise must not have been worn, altered, or washed and must be in original condition with tags attached.  Shoes should be in the original boxes and not show wear. Please try out on carpet at home. PLEASE be mindful when trying on clothing with makeup and deodorant, as we can not accept stained items back.  If you've selected in-store pick-up, please bring your receipt and return your items to the store within 7 days of purchase for a full refund (with the exception of above exclusions).

Lingerie, bodysuits, swim, and some sale items are final sale (as marked on the item) and cannot be returned.  Please note we do not offer refunds on phone orders, special orders, or items purchased in-store.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the merchandise in question does not meet our standards.

Refunds (minus shipping cost) will be processed within two business days after we receive the merchandise.  Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to post this transaction to your account. At this time we do not have the capability to do exchanges.

Orders cannot be cancelled after being placed.

HOW TO DO A RETURN

If you would like to return your item(s), please send an email to:

We will give you a return authorization number.  Write this number in a visible place on the outside of your shipping box.  Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and enclose the original receipt. Please ship back to the address below using an appropriate shipping box or envelope. Penelope T is not responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend insuring and shipping the package with a trackable service.  We cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves.  You will receive an email confirmation when your return has been accepted and processed.

IN-STORE/ONLINE SEPARATION POLICY:

We reserve the right to have separate online policies from our in-store policies.  Orders placed over the phone are treated like an in-store sale, and therefore subject to our in-store return policy.  If you have questions regarding our two separate return policies, please email shop@penelopetboutique.com and we will gladly assist you.
